Autism Society's Virtual Advocacy Sit
The Autism Society of America has been improving the lives of all affected by autism since 1965 and envisions a world where individuals and families living with autism are able to maximize their quality of life, are treated with the highest level of dignity, and live in a society in which their talents and skills are appreciated and valued. We provide advocacy, education, information and referral, support, and community at national, state and local levels through our strong nationwide network of Affiliates.
Despite our progress, today we find ourselves at a crossroads. Resources that families rely on such as Social Security, Disability Benefits, and Medicaid—the cornerstone of our long-term care delivery system, are at great risk.
The issues we face today require immediate action.
Are you ready to help make a difference? Join the Autism Society of America for our first-ever Virtual Advocacy Sit from July 12th to September 4th. Join advocates, families, professionals, and champions nationwide to mobilize grassroots around crucial issues that affect people just like you and your loved ones. We are issuing a call to advocates committed to improving outcomes for people with disabilities to join our virtual movement for progress.
Can we count on you?
